Poor Doubting Christian Drawn Unto Christ
By: Hooker, Thomas
1629. This volume contains a sermon wherein the main hindrances which keep men from coming to Christ are discovered and removed, together with the helps and mean which further God’s children in the obtaining of grace and faith. It is chiefly tending to lay open the necessity and excellency of Christ and the promises; to empty us of self-confidence and resting in ourselves; and to show the weakness and insufficiency of all carnal props and reasonings whatsoever. Due to the age and scarcity of the original we reproduced, some pages may be spotty, faded or difficult to read. Written in Old English.
