1658. Anthologias Recognita et Aucta. An English exposition of the Roman antiquities, wherein many Roman and English officer are paralleled, and divers obscure phrases explained. For the use of Abingdon school. This utterly ancient and very rare book may very well be one of our oldest originals. Written in Old English, the original is faded and spotty, but in pretty good condition considering it is nearly 350 years old! Its age and content make reading it well worth the effort.
